I started Wombourne Engineering Services Ltd, in May 2018, previously, I was employed full time as a Materials and Process/Quality Engineer, plus Technical Author & Support Engineer, prior to that a Test and Commissioning Engineer on rotary friction welding (RFW), and Magnetic Arc welding (MIAB) machines and cells.

I currently have contracts for specialised operator manuals for a large OEM,

I am an engineering professional, having accumulated and developed extensive practical and theoretical engineering skill and expertise over 30 years within engineering and manufacturing industries, especially in welding and material processing. I am a reliable and responsible person, confident, efficient & resourceful with excellent communication skills.

From my Technical Apprenticeship, and self-motivated continued learning, I am able to manufacture bespoke tooling and equipment from ideas or 2D/3D drawings/models.

In addition i can interpret from Mechanical drawings, Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic schematics, data sheets, PLC/SPS interrogation and GUIs’ towards an understanding of equipment function and solve customers’ problems. In my previous role, I have contributed in advancing machine design, control and new processes to help make it one of the worlds top three in welding.
